Mark B. Ganz
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mark has participated in the region's ever-evolving health care community his entire life, and health care has become his personal and professional cause. The son of a Spokane, Wash., physician, Mark spent many childhood afternoons at his father's family practice learning the importance of service, community and family.
His passion for transforming the way people experience health care is the cornerstone of his vision for Cambia. Achieving this goal means staying true to the company's community-based roots and making it possible for people to help each other when they need care.
Mark has translated his dedication to serving others into an extraordinary record of community service, currently as vice-chair of University of Portland Board of Regents, Boy Scouts of America–Cascade Pacific Council executive board and The Dougy Center Capital Campaign Leadership Cabinet.
He serves the larger community as a board member of Greater Portland Inc., a regional economic development corporation; and of Portland General Electric Inc., the U.S. Bank–Oregon Advisory Board, Oregon Business Council (also executive committee member), Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, America's Health Insurance Plans; University of Portland Board of Regents; Jesuit High School, the American Red Cross Advisory Board–Oregon Trail chapter, and The Conversation Project. He also chairs the Aspen Institute Health Stewardship Project.
Mark works for health system change through chairing the Aspen Institute Health Stewardship Project and serving on the boards of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association and America's Health Insurance Plans (also Executive Committee member).
He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. While an undergraduate, he was a staff member for U.S. Senator Henry M. "Scoop" Jackson (D-Wash).

Jared L. Short
President, Health Insurance Services
Jared provides oversight of major operations associated with Cambia's Blue-branded health insurance subsidiaries across four states. This includes Customer Service, Claims Administration, Group and Individual Enrollment, Government Programs and the Federal Employee Program, Account Management, Insurance Product Development, eProducts and Services, Regence market presidents, Health Care Services and the Regence subsidiaries of Healthcare Administrators Inc., and Asuris Northwest Health.
Jared was named President of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon in 2009 and was responsible for Oregon sales, provider contracting and government and community relations. He came to that position after serving as chief marketing and underwriting officer at BlueCross BlueShield of Montana.
He first joined the company in 2000 as a Financial Analyst. He also managed corporate research and reporting, was Assistant Director of Business Intelligence and led the company's consumer-directed health systems.
Jared is on the board of directors for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Plan and for TriWest Healthcare Alliance. He serves on the board of directors for Trillium Family Services, the Oregon Zoo, the Portland Metropolitan area Boys & Girls Clubs and the Oregon Business Association, and serves on the Oregon Health Improvement Plan Committee.
Jared received his Bachelor of Science degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

Vince Price
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Vince leads Cambia's actuarial, underwriting and finance functions. His responsibilities include implementing financial decision support functions and enhanced modeling capabilities.
Vince joined the company in late 2009, having previously spent 15 years as a senior finance executive with Intel, then seven years as a consultant and CFO for a start-up. He serves on the board of trustees of BCS Financial's Plan Investment Fund.
He serves on the board of the Children's Heart Foundation, Oregon Chapter, of which he is also a founding member and former treasurer.
Vince received his bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University, and his MBA from Arizona State University.

Kerry E. Barnett
Executive Vice President,
Corporate Services and Chief Legal OfficerKerry provides leadership and strategic direction for communications, public policy and public affairs, human resources, marketing, and ethics and compliance for Cambia and its subsidiary Blue plans in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. He is the chief compliance officer and the chief legal officer, overseeing legal functions of the company.
Kerry has held senior executive positions with ODS Health Plans, HealthFirst Medical Group, and served Oregon as the insurance commissioner and as the governor's legal counsel and senior policy advisor.
He is on the board of governors for the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. He sits on the Public Policy Committee and on the Strategic Communications Advisory Council of America's Health Insurance Plans. He also serves on the Legal Division Co-op Board of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. In the community, Kerry serves on boards for the Portland Business Alliance, United Way and the Cambia Health Foundation, and as an Oregon Business Council deputy.
He received his Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Rochester and received his law degree from Yale Law School.

Dudley Slater
Executive Vice President,
Direct Health SolutionsDudley leads the strategic oversight, operations, growth and development of the company's suite of consumer-focused health and wellness products and services, including LifeMap Assurance Company, RegenceRx, HealthSparq, Sprig Health, Wellero, Tailorwell, and hubbub.
He brings experience from more than 20 years of successfully building companies in the diverse fields of telecommunications, cable, energy, finance and health care.
Dudley was co-founder of Integra Telecom, Inc., one of the largest providers of communications and networking services in the western United States. He remains on Integra's board as vice chairman and director. He served as president and CEO of Western IRB, which reviews the clinical trials of approximately 25 percent of all new drugs and medical devices in the United States, Canada and many Asian countries.
Dudley serves on the boards of Umpqua Holdings, WOW Cable and Internet, and was appointed by the governor of Oregon to serve on the Oregon Innovation Council. He also serves on the board of Orphans Overseas, a humanitarian organization serving disadvantaged youth, and a number of other non-profit boards.
He has a bachelor's degree in applied geophysics, University of California, Los Angeles, and a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Richard Popiel
Executive Vice President,
Health Care Services and Chief Medical OfficerDr. Richard Popiel leads medical strategy for all Regence health insurance plans and provides executive leadership on care initiatives and cost management.
He comes to Regence in from Horizon Healthcare Innovations, a Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey company, where he was president and chief operating officer. Dr. Popiel also served as vice president and chief medical officer at Horizon, where he worked since 2000. He also served as vice president/senior medical director for The Permenante Company.
Professional activities include chairing the National Council of Physician and Pharmacy Executives, a Blue Cross Blue Shield Association council comprised of chief medical and chief pharmacy officers, and leading the Chief Medical Officer Leadership Group at America's Health Insurance Plans.
Dr. Popiel earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees and a Doctor of Medicine at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also holds a master of business administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
His philanthropic activities include board membership with the American Cancer Society.

John Cimral
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
John leads strategic direction for information technology services, and aligns the day-to-day operations of the IT Services division with overall Cambia business direction and priorities. He is responsible for ensuring Cambia's technology systems adapt to a consumer-driven marketplace.
He joined the company in 2011 and has nearly 25 years experience in building and growing successful technology businesses, including Symantec's Norton Antivirus security products. He was the CEO of ProSight, a computer software company.
John serves on the board of the Returning Veterans Project, Oregon TechStart and the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. He is very involved in veteran hiring and support programs at Cambia.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, John served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, reaching the rank of Major. While in the Army, he earned two graduate degrees in computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in human resource management from Pepperdine University. John holds 10 technology patents and is recognized as a national expert in IT portfolio management.

Rob Coppedge
Senior Vice President, Corporate and Business Development
Rob provides leadership for Cambia's diversification and strategic investment efforts, with responsibility for Direct Health Solutions (DHS) investment strategy and portfolio management. He serves on the Cambia Leadership Team, and on the Fund Management Team.
Before joining Cambia in 2010, he was the founding partner of Faultline Ventures, where he worked with numerous early stage companies and strategic investors. He also held a variety of positions with Capitol Health Partners, a Washington, D.C., and New York City-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage health services and health care information technology.
Active in industry and community organizations, Rob serves boards of several health care companies and is a founder and former director of Leadership Health Care and is a director for The Cambia Foundation.
Rob is a co-founder and director of innovateHealth, driving change with a group of regional stakeholders to support the development of clinical and administrative efficiencies and a more consumer-focused system.
Rob received his Bachelor's degree in history from Georgetown University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Peggy Maguire
Senior Vice President, Corporate Accountability and Chief of Staff
Peggy is responsible for providing leadership over Strategic Planning, Corporate Performance, Enterprise Risk Management, Sustainability and Corporate Philanthropy. As Chief of Staff, Peggy extends the reach of the Office of the CEO by acting as its direct representative to industry associations, community organizations and other key stakeholders.
She joined the company in 1997 as an associate general counsel and held several posts, including director of Litigation & Risk Management and Vice President, Legal Services, before being promoted to her current position in 2008.
Previously, Peggy worked as an attorney at Garvey Schubert & Barer, was an extern to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (Judge Skopil) and a law clerk in the Office of the Washington Attorney General.
Peggy's current civic involvement includes serving as a vice chair of The Dougy Center board of directors, and on the board of directors of Friends of the Children and Start Making a Reader Today (SMART). Peggy is a fellow of The American Leadership Forum of Oregon. She also serves as President of The Cambia Foundation.
She received her Bachelor's degree in philosophy and anthropology from Lawrence University and her law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.

Mohan Nair
Chief Innovation Officer
Mohan guides the Innovation Force (IF) as it inspires ideas from a variety of sources, selecting execution-focused concepts and starting them on the path to new businesses or concepts.
Mohan joined the company in 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Executive accountable for product development, brand management, consumer-directed health systems/e-business, business intelligence and corporate performance management/planning for all four health plans.
Before joining Regence, Mohan founded venture and consulting firms, and held chief executive positions with ABC Technologies and ProTool Inc. He has been an adjunct professor of business at Kellogg School of Management and authored the books Essentials of Balanced Scorecard and Activity-Based Information Systems: An Executive's Guide to Implementation.
Mohan has served as a member of the Armed Services Interest Group on Cost and Performance Management, and the Government's Committee on Performance and Accountability for the State of Oregon. He also serves on the Chronic Care Workgroup under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
His community activities include serving on the American Heart Association's Executive Leadership Team and as chair of the board of trustees for the Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges & Universities.
Mohan holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and business, and a master's degree in computer and information sciences from the University of Oregon. He received an accreditation in advanced management from Stanford University.

Don Antonucci
President, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon
Don leads strategy and execution for the Oregon plan consistent with company's direction. Responsible for directing and guiding statewide operations and market performance while representing and promoting Regence in business and civic arenas throughout the state.
Arriving at Regence in May 2010 to lead the Sales group for the Oregon Plan, he has more than 15 years of experience in the health insurance industry. He began his career in market analytics for a variety of health plans, including Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey. Prior to joining Regence, Don served as director of sales with WellPoint Inc./Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine.
Don's work in marketing analytics led to his authorship of articles in national publications, including The Health Care Manager Journal, Marketing Health Services Magazine, and Marketing Management Magazine. His professional activities include the American Leadership Forum for Oregon and serving on the boards of directors for the Oregon Medical Insurance Pool and the Oregon Health Leadership Council. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Children's Cancer Association.
He received his bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York College at Cortland, and his master's degree in public policy analysis and administration from Binghamton University, State University of New York.

Jonathan Hensley
President, Regence BlueShield in Washington
Jonathan leads strategy and execution for the Washington plan consistent with company's direction. Responsible for directing and guiding statewide operations and market performance while representing and promoting Regence in business and civic arenas throughout the state.
Jonathan served as vice president of sales for Regence BlueShield from 2004-2007. Prior to being named in his current position, he was CEO of United Healthcare's Pacific Region. Jonathan is recognized as an established leader in the health care field, with 26 years of sales and industry leadership experience.
Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. An active member of the community, he serves on the boards of the Food Lifeline and The Martinez Foundation.

Jennifer Danielson
President, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah
Jennifer leads strategy and execution for the Utah plan consistent with company's direction. Responsible for directing and guiding statewide operations and market performance while representing and promoting Regence in business and civic arenas throughout the state.
Jennifer was named to this position in 2012. Starting as a staff attorney with Regence in 1997, Jennifer has served as associate general counsel and assistant vice president for legislative and regulatory affairs. She has directed public policy and health information for all Regence markets, and was named Utah vice president in 2010.
Before joining Regence, she worked for the U.S. Public Health Service, the Utah Department of Health and the Utah Attorney General's Office Health Division.
A frequent health insurance industry speaker and guest lecturer, Jennifer is also very active in the community. She serves on the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors, on the Economic Development Corporation of Utah's Board of Trustees, as secretary/treasurer of the University of Utah Hospital Foundation, as a member of the Utah Foundation board of trustees, and as the Chair of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign. She is a board member with the Cambia Foundation as well.
Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a law degree from the University of Utah. She also has completed the Cambridge University International Programme.

Scott Kreiling
President, Regence BlueShield of Idaho
Scott leads strategy and execution for the Idaho plan consistent with company's direction. Responsible for directing and guiding statewide operations and market performance while representing and promoting Regence in business and civic arenas throughout the state.
He was named to his current position in 2009 after serving as vice president of Sales for Regence BlueShield in Washington. He has been with Regence since 2002.
Scott holds a bachelor's degree in general studies with an emphasis on business from the University of Nebraska. He served with the United States Air Force before completing his studies.
Scott's professional activities include serving on the Idaho Health Insurance Exchange Board, the board of directors of the Idaho Association of Health Insurance Plans and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. He is also a member of Young Presidents Organization. He is the chair-elect of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, board of directors, chairs the Chamber HealthCare Advisory Council, and serves on the boards of the Treasure Valley YMCA and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Scott holds a bachelor's degree in general studies with an emphasis on business from the University of Nebraska. He served with the United States Air Force before completing his studies.
