John Morgan, of Portland, Oregon, has led companies in the biotech and medical device industries, including the Mid-America division of Baxter International, Inc., and HemCon Medical Technologies, Inc. John took a hiatus from Cambia board service to join the executive cadre of the company, overseeing the growth and development of the company's suite of consumer-focused health and wellness products, where he helped shape the corporate development function.
John returned to the corporate world – and to the Cambia board – and is now the health care operating partner for Public Pension Capital LLC (PPC), a New York- and Chicago-based private equity firm that invests in several verticals, including health care, industrials, tech-enabled services and specialty chemicals. He was appointed to the Cambia board in 2012. A University of Arizona graduate, John has a bachelor's degree in public administration and economics.
