The votes are in, and on Thursday night (May 7) in Seattle, the Cambia Grove, Cambia’s new collaborative space for health care innovation, walked away with the 2015 “Newcomer of the Year” award by GeekWire. Other nominees for the honor included several well-known and established brands like Alibaba, Dropbox, Galvanize and SpaceX.
The annual startup awards are known as “the Oscars of the Northwest tech scene,” but in 2015 GeekWire voters recognized the innovative spirit of the health care sector the Cambia Grove is fostering in Seattle and across the Pacific Northwest, just eight weeks after opening.
Winning GeekWire’s “Newcomer of the Year” award further solidifies Cambia’s vision of building a thriving health care startup cluster and collaborative community where entrepreneurs and established players can break down the silos between themselves, build valuable connections and transform health care as we know it.
Thank you, GeekWire for this amazing recognition. For any and all who want to join Cambia in changing health care and creating innovations that put people first, visit www.cambiagrove.com or better yet, come to the Cambia Grove in Seattle to meet like-minded innovators and get to work.
