Cambia Health Solutions is pleased to announce that the Public Affairs and Policy team has promoted Zach Snyder to the role of Director of Government Affairs. In this key leadership role, he will focus on collaborating with the public sector in Washington state on our shared work of creating a seamless health care experience – focused on the consumer.
Before joining Cambia, Zach garnered ten years of experience leading efforts to strategically advance health policy in a legislative environment though management roles with the Washington State Health Benefit Exchange and The Pew Charitable Trusts. Prior to this promotion, Zach served as Cambia’s acting director of government affairs, since December of last year and also was a key member of the Regulatory Affairs team. This ample experience has honed his ability to build strong relationships to support Cambia’s diverse interests in health reform, private insurance, Medicare, and state regulatory issues.
“The industry is changing at an unprecedented pace and Cambia is fortunate to have a professional of Zach’s caliber to advance policies that create a better health care experience for people and their families,” said Sean Robbins, senior vice president of public affairs and policy for Cambia Health Solutions.
“Zach’s experience and deep industry and regulatory knowledge will ensure Cambia continues to foster and build productive relationships with key state policy and regulatory leaders and support the company’s vision of creating an economically sustainable, consumer-centric health care system, said Jennifer Danielson, vice president of government and regulatory affairs for Cambia Health Solutions.”
Snyder will be based out of Cambia’s downtown Seattle office.
