whole-person health
Since 2007, our corporate foundation has funded over $137 million in grants to advance patient- and family-centered care for all. Our 10-year vision is to advance equity through whole-person health in underserved communities in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah. By whole-person health, we mean the integration of the physical, social and behavioral aspects of our health.
We believe that health is personal, multidimensional and integrated, so healthcare should be, too. We believe in a future where every person has an equal opportunity to live the healthiest life possible.
Cambia Health Foundation strategy
Our 2022-2026 strategic plan prioritizes behavioral health because it is a pressing community need, and expanding access to integrated behavioral health services will create a more equitable system of whole-person health for people living in our communities. Behavioral health includes mental health and substance use, and it encompasses a continuum of prevention, intervention, recovery and support services. As a Foundation, our goal is to advance whole-person health by expanding access to behavioral health in underserved communities. Our efforts focus on three areas:
