The Utah Worksite Wellness Council Healthy Worksite Awards recognize employers of all sizes for their worksite health and wellness programs. Employers are awarded based on how well they implement evidence-based health-promoting strategies across six key areas of well-being: organizational, physical, emotional, social, financial and community.

Cambia Health Solutions is one of 20 companies recently inducted into the first-ever class of the Healthiest Employers Hall of Fame. This award recognizes organizations that have been named to the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America more than five times. Cambia has been recognized all eight years of the award and continues to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to its employees’ health.

The Portland Business Alliance named Cambia among the winners of the 2019 A Place With No Ceiling Award for our strong presence of women in leadership positions and unique programs that foster the advancement of our female employees.

Cambia’s employee wellness program (WellPower) was recognized with a Celebrate Community Award for employee well-being at the One Place 2019 conference presented by Benefitfocus. Dedicated to health care transformation, Cambia makes wellness an integral part of its workplace culture. The WellPower program encourages employees to focus on everyday habits that shape overall well-being and productivity

Cambia Health Solutions was named among America’s “Best Employers for Women” by Forbes, which ranked 300 companies based on a national survey of 40,000 people. Cambia came in at number 45 on this list. Recognition criteria included workplace conditions, whether employees would recommend their employer, and gender diversity at the employee, executive and board levels. 

Benefitfocus awarded the Giving is Good Award for the charitable and volunteer programs Cambia’s regional health plan in Utah created to engage its workforce during the centennial anniversary. August 2017 was declared the “Month of Giving.” The event was so successful that it was extended into September, and over a six-week period, Cambia employees volunteered 7,300+ hours and donated over $2.4 million. These efforts had a significant impact on the nearly 1,900 local organizations. 

Cambia Health Solutions received Gold Certification from the City of Portland in sustainability at work. The certification is for three years from 2018 through 2021. Embracing sustainability as a core ideology, Cambia has implemented several energy reduction tactics and waste reduction initiatives—specifically, supporting a remote workforce and active transportation solutions, composting and recycling processes, expansion of electronic resourcing, and reusable water systems. 

Cambia was recognized by Mogul as one of the Top 1000 Companies with Strong Female Leaders in 2018. Mogul conducts annual research to examine and assess workplaces for women based on: (1) Women’s Initiatives, (2) Women in Leadership, (3) Workplace Policies, (4) Workplace Culture, and (5) Overall Diversity & Inclusion.

Cambia is among the Top 150 Worldwide Honorees for the Mogul “Top 1,000 Companies Worldwide for Millennial Women Award”, a global tech-based career recruitment platform. The criteria included having a strong culture of diversity and inclusion and more leadership, mentorship and advancement opportunities for millennial women, along with a workplace culture of work/life balance. Our strong sexual assault policies and overall workplace policies, make this a women-friendly company to grow in.
