Asuris Northwest Health Achieves NCQA Accreditation
SPOKANE, Wash. – Today Asuris Northwest Health announced that it has achieved National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation for its health plan offerings.
NCQA evaluates how effectively a health plan manages all parts of its delivery system, including physicians, hospitals, other health care professionals, and administrative services. Health plans are also measured by their ability to drive improvements in four key areas: quality improvement, utilization management, member services and provider credentialing.
NCQA Accreditation provides health care consumers the ability to evaluate the quality of different health plans across a variety of important criterion. This allows individuals to make health plan decisions based on demonstrated value rather than simply on cost.
“Achieving this accreditation reflects our commitment to transforming health care by providing excellent customer service, innovative products, and high quality provider networks,” said Brady Cass, president of Asuris Northwest Health. “We owe this achievement to our employees who are committed to ensuring that our members have access to the care they need, when they need it.”
